The ʺHawkeye Stateʺ is the nickname in tribute to the Indian chief ʺBlack Hawkeyeʺ. Iowa´s capital is Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Sioux city and Waterloo highlights as its most important cities.
Some native Indians mainly sax and fox tribes live in Iowa´s land. The greatest lakes zone provide these state amazing sceneries outdoors. It´s the only state bordered by two rivers, Missouri and Mississippi.

The economy is mainly thanks to agriculture and livestock. Iowa owns about 94,000 farms, which cover more than 90 percent of the state. Only Nebraska has a higher percentage in relation to the state of the state covered by farms. This state is the largest producer of corn in the United States, it also has the largest swine herd in the country, as well as being one of the main producers of soybeans.
Iowa is a peculiar state offering singular places to visit. Looking up some sites, you can visit Strawberry Point, which you can see the world´s largest strawberry not sure what to do with that but fun to know. Another place you can´t miss to visit is the Groffo of the Redemption at West Bend. This Iowa institution is decribed as the eighth wonder of the world. It´s a series of nine grottos that each depict a scene from the life of Jesus Jasper, quartz, topaz, calcite, stalactites and stalagmites.
