This state is located on the Rocky mountain region of the United States. It limits to the north of the Canadian province of the Britsh Columbia. Its principal cities are Boise (Capital), Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Nampa, Lewiston and Twin Falls.

Idaho is the natural habitat of many of the largest mammals in the country, including elk, antelope, elk, gray bear and puma.
