This state is located on the Rocky mountain region of the United States. It limits to the north of the Canadian province of the Britsh Columbia. Its principal cities are Boise (Capital), Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Nampa, Lewiston and Twin Falls.

Idaho´s principal rivers is The Snake that flows across the state. Idaho was added to the U.S on July 3rd, 1890. Idaho is well known for its potatoes, trout and precious stones as it is for its unspoiled, rugged landscapes.

Snowy mountains, deep valleys, lakes and rivers cover the 14th largest state in land mass. Some places to visit in Idaho you can avoid are The Craters of the Moon National Recreation Area, Lake Coeur d´Alene, Hell´s Canyon National Recreation Area, etc.

Approximately 41% of the state territory is covered with forests, many of which are located in the Rocky Mountains of the Center and North. Some varieties of orchid are found in the interior of forest areas, and other flowers such as violets emerge in good weather. The lilac or syringa is the state flower. Idaho is the natural habitat of many of the largest mammals in the country, including elk, antelope, elk, gray bear and puma.

Sun Valley Resort is located on southern Idaho, it attracts skiing enthusiasts from all over with its magnificient facilities for winter sports. During the summer, Sun Valley welcomes to bikers and hikers, and you can do other outdoor adventures.
